Job Description
TPC seeks a Project Department Manager in charge of North, Central and South America. With his team, the Project Department Manager has the responsibility to ensure technical reliability of the solution offers to the client, in respect to TPC quality procedures. This position reports to the Vice-President.strong>
Qualification: Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer
EXPERIENCE: 5 years minimum

RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage Project Department Activities
- Supervise all activities for Project Engineers team of 5 to 10, located in Brazil, Peru and USA
- Direct department staff regarding evaluations, holidays, guidance and training
- Organize the department to have the work performed on time to answer to customer requirement
- Define work strategies and execute plans
- Control and update Department Quality Indicators, Procedures, Instructions and Forms.
Ensure customers’ technical requirements and deadlines are met in consistence with TPC procedures
- Control the process and respect of deadlines of all projects under progress
- Manage to have customers’ technical specifications met from the pre-sales to after-sales
- Approve TP Design Configuration
- Supervise the development of Retrofitting Technical Proposals, Quantity Certificates (Bill of materials), and Engineering Drawings
- Issue purchase orders, supervise production, follow-up the production to meet customers’ deadline
Manage TP After Sales Project Responsibilities
- Have technical support given to clients, transformer manufactures and installation companies. The support given in the form of but not limited to onsite technical presentations, technical meetings, e-mails and telephone conference meetings, among others etc.
- Manage and train supervisors regarding TPC products
- Supervise TPC products commissioning, and guarantee installation compliance
- Coordinate TPC products maintenance in coordination with Business Development Department
